For one major customer, Tel-bureau’s analysts were able to consolidate over 10,000 paper invoices from a wide variety of legacy suppliers into a single monthly invoice, received electronically from Tel-bureau.  This resulted in the organization saving many thousands in resource centers, whilst at the same time driving down telecom costs by providing management with improved visibility of telecoms costs.

For another large high street retailer, Tel-bureau was able to consolidate all bills into a single monthly database, using the right analysis tools to perform tracked monthly analyses on all call traffic across all UK branches on a monthly basis.  The business was able to define its own chosen search criteria, the results being presented on a UK map showing relevant geographical areas called in relation to the firm’s branch structure.  This new system was able to identify all unusual call patterns, stores spending the most in proportion to their turnover, unnecessary international calls, and occasions where multiple out-of-hours calls were made to the same mobile telephone number. 

But in addition, they found out that certain branches were making too many calls to the company’s outsourced IT desk support company, resulting in unnecessary costs.  This was resolved by providing additional training, further reducing costs incurred by the outsourced helpdesk.
